This is why we at Milligan Valley K9 Academy offer our General Board & Train Program, a comprehensive four-week program designed to instill essential obedience skills and create a well-balanced, well-mannered family companion.

This immersive experience allows for consistent training, socialization, and behavior reinforcement, ensuring that your dog absorbs commands effectively. Our trainers work with your dog all day, every day, refining their skills through both active and passive training techniques.
Unlike short, sporadic training sessions at home, this intensive program helps create lasting behavioral change. Plus, you’ll get the benefit of a fully trained dog without the frustration of trial-and-error learning on your own.

The training doesn’t stop when your dog goes home. We provide a detailed go-home session, ensuring you understand how to maintain and reinforce your dog’s training. Plus, you receive unlimited private lessons for the lifetime of your dog, so you’re never alone in your training journey.
What sets Milligan Valley K9 Academy apart?
We live on-site, providing continuous care and supervision during the day, ensuring your dog receives the attention and training they need. Whitney and her family, along with two kennel techs, are present on the premises. While we do have cameras and alarms in place to monitor the dogs overnight, please note that we do not have staff physically monitoring the premises overnight. During training hours, your dog will experience real-life situations in a home-like setting, preparing them to transition smoothly back into your family’s routine
