The MVK9 Owner Shadow Program is an immersive, hands-on training experience designed for owners who want to understand the training process and learn how to confidently handle their own dog.
Instead of simply sending your dog away for training, you become part of the process.
You and your dog will work through essentially everything taught in our 4-Week General Board & Train, while working directly with Whitney Whitacre. You’ll watch how training is built, learn why and how we teach each skill, and then get hands-on experience applying those techniques with your own dog.

One of the biggest differences between the Owner Shadow Program and a traditional Board & Train is that you see how the training happens.
You aren’t simply handed a trained dog at the end of a program. You watch skills being taught, learn how we communicate with your dog, practice alongside us, and develop the handling skills necessary to continue that training yourself.

Every Owner Shadow Program is individualized.
While we work through the foundation of our General Board & Train, we also dedicate time to the areas where you and your dog need the most help. This may include specific behavior concerns, handling challenges, household issues, lifestyle needs, or real-world situations.
